The Iron Lance is one of the most basic lances in the Fire Emblem series, first appearing in Mystery of the Emblem and appearing in every game since. Commonly used by soldiers, cavaliers and knights, it can be a mild threat at the beginning of most games, as almost all main characters wield swords.
