FE6 Tier List & Character Ratings

This tier list ranks the major playable characters in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade (FE6) based on their overall contribution to an efficient playthrough. Factors include base stats, availability, growth rates, weapon types, class utility, and how much investment they need. FE6 is one of the harder GBA titles, so units that contribute immediately with strong bases are rated higher than those requiring heavy experience investment.

Tier List Methodology

S Tier units contribute immediately upon joining and remain dominant throughout the run with little to no investment. A Tier units are very strong, either through excellent bases, critical utility, or high growth potential that pays off quickly. B Tier units are solid contributors but may have notable weaknesses or limited availability windows. C Tier units are usable but outclassed by higher-tier alternatives. D Tier units require extreme investment to become functional and are generally not worth deploying over alternatives.

Note that FE6 is the only GBA title where the main lord (Roy) cannot promote until near the end of the game, which significantly limits his usefulness. The game also features hard mode bonuses that inflate enemy stats, making strong base-stat units even more valuable.
