The Sage is an advanced magical class which debuted in Fire Emblem Gaiden. It is the primary promoted form of the Mage class, occupying that role since Genealogy of the Holy War. Sages wield offensive magic, primarily focusing on anima magic and its three subtypes, almost always with the addition of staves.
