Lance
Calm Cavalier
Lances (Japanese: 槍 Lance) are a type of weapon in the Fire Emblem series. In the weapon triangle, they are more effective against swords and less effective against axes. They are generally the most balanced of the three, with average strength and accuracy. In Fire Emblem Fates, their Hoshidan counterpart is called the naginata (Japanese: 薙刀 naginata). They are almost exactly the same as lances and share a weapon level, differentiated by the effect of that, when equipped, they increase the wielder's defense and resistance by 1, and, on average, they have lower might.
